This set of 18th Century Swedish Rococo Chairs were custom re-designed and fabricated for theatrical use. These custom build chairs were designed and built to withstand being thrown across stage and flipped over multiple times per production. The process of fabricating these chairs ranged from turning to power carving to bandsawn cabriole legs to hand spokeshaved finishing. Originally a set of 4 chairs were to be built in a span of 2 weeks for the production. A change in the overall look of the chairs during this build resulted in only 3 chairs being completed. Thus, these chairs never made it on stage for the production.
