Foam “Fight” Axe

Modeled after a late 1890s Van Camp Axe this actor safe foam recreation was custom fabricated for the production. After doing a temporary modification to the head of a real Van Camp axe to bring it back to its full “unused” length than axe was molded in silicon. Then it was casted in FLEX FOAM-IT with a wooden dowel support spine and wire support in the head. Finally it was faux-finished to with a buffed graphite head and a dark wood grain handle then sealed with Crystal Gel.
